Create a Kitchen Procedure Report to ensure menu items are ready on time. Show your kitchen staff, to the minute, when they are to begin a given procedure for each dish. You can also create reports for your production kitchen describing to the quantity of an item to prepare for each event.
Know your inventory. Every menu item will have the appropriate serving piece. Your Kitchen Report will tell your staff how they are to present each item and, if appropriate, where it appears on the buffet.
Place and set up buffet stations exactly where they belong. Your Buffet Report tells your dining-room staff which station goes where and how each one should be set up—right down to the votive candles.
Give your dining room supervisor, head bartender, kitchen supervisor, buffet staff and ceremony staff a complete overview of your expectations. You can generate reports in full detail for each department.
Control all the details that make an event flow smoothly. A Ceremony and General Information Report will display your entire schedule of events, including minutiae so small you’ll know the number of hangers needed for the coat racks.
Keep your staffing profitable. A Staffing Report will tell you the number of staffers required in each department and how many total hours are budgeted for an event. You can list the staff, show their schedules and confirm their acceptance of the job, then compare total scheduled hours with budgeted hours. Print out an event sign-in sheet, keep a running record of event staff with time and work history, and monitor full reports for each event and each pay period.
Set the perfect table. Your dining room staff will know exactly how tables are to be placed or set. A Dining Room Report along with the Ongoing Event Notes report will give you exceptional detail as to what comprises the place setting and top-of-the-table items, and even provide the turnaround notes for the room, if required.
Keep up with equipment/menu details. Once you’ve entered the equipment required for a given menu, it’s in the system forever.
